Another pic of palms on my daily drive, although I cannot remember exactly where this was taken. The picture is rather dark because the focal point was the morning sun. However, since it appears to be moonlight, added blue coloration to enhance that appearance.

Day 58: Storm

Today's storm clouds...quite lovely, and dark. This image taken in the afternoon after all day rain fall. We even had thunder today. :)

Day 57: Gray Skies

Another morning on the way to work...gray skies...and trees against the morning sky. :)

Day 56: Pasta!

Here is a pasta dish I had a craving for: Pasta, arugula, tomatoes, feta cheese, olive oil of course...and LOTS of garlic! Mmmmmm! Easy and yummy. :)

Also paired it with lime chicken...since I was out of lemons. I have a lime tree which has excess limes at the moment...and they are becoming ripe! (They turn yellow...but the inside stays green.)

Day 55: APA Beer!

Had one of my favorite beers last night, an APA at a local brewery/restaurant. The patio outdoors is great, especially in the summer. Used to do a lot of smoking out there, so that used to be one of the main reasons to go there. Now it's because I enjoy the beer, company, and/or atmosphere.

Day 54: Bed

My bed....in the morning...the sun streaming in. My window faces south, so I have wonderful light streaming in when it's clear out. In the winter months I will get the sun on my face at a particular time in the morning. :)

Day 53: Twins

This pic was enhanced using my Olympus photo editing application. This was really an accidental effect from playing with the histogram tone curve settings. The original picture as taken is shown below.

Day 52: Wasp

Was out in the garden today. It was sunny, with some clouds blowing across the sky now and then. The weather was warm, which brings out the wasps. This one was poking around in one of my rose bushes.

Day 51: My Town

This is the view at sunset just around the corner from my house. I love the palm silouettes which I seem to be capturing a lot. There are a lot of palms in this area as I'm finding out. It was a lovely evening...

Day 50: Chow

One of the places I may go to grab a beer, margarita, or appetizer at happy hour. This is a fairly new Friday's...remodeled and has an outdoor patio. Not that I am such a big fan of Friday's per se, but it is close, and they have a second happy hour that starts at 10pm each night.

Day 49: Lavendar Skies

A tree at work, that I seem to photograph often...especially now that it is bare, and waiting for it's Spring garment to be donned soon. I enhanced the color create a lavendar sky. It looks like something from a fairy tale or a secret forest... :)

Day 48: Onion

I was cutting onions for a salad...and this particular onion had an interesting pattern, so I snapped some pics. :)

Day 47: Wires

I like the composition of this picture...the perspective of poles & wires cutting across the page from bottom to top. The trees anchor the pic, but the wires seem to run away off the page. This picture looks aged, but it's not. It was taken through my car windshield, which has interesting effects at times.

Day 46: Marguerite

These three were basking in the sun when I went out into the garden to see what was up on this sunny Monday morning. :)

Day 45: Chime

This chime contains my favorite symbol, and my favorite color...I never realized that until I took this pic. :)

Day 44: Trails

The atmosphere was just right for planes to leave trails that were caught in the setting sun.

Day 43: Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus trees are very obvious to spot by silouette, at least for me. There are so many in this area. These run along some of the properties backing up to the tracks in the previous project365 post.

Day 42: Tracks

A view of the tracks from the roadside--one day after heavy rains…and then sunshine. Reminds be of another time, or a distant place. Doesn't look to be smack dab in the middle of OC's urban sprawl.
