Day 90: Gray Days

My days have been gray lately...and here they are reflected in last night's drive home. Also the 3 trees...things seem to come in threes. Three is also symbolic in other ways...good ways. I think that despite everything gone to hell, it has a purpose...and it will get better.

Day 89: View of the Nile

Sitting in the lobby of a hotel...just after a meditation, I shot some pics of an Egyptian mural. I wish I could go back (to Egypt, that is...). I loved it there.

Day 88: Soothing Eucalyptus

This view from a friend's patio yesterday, where I was invited for a BBQ and beers. It was a nice soothing view & sunset after all the craziness that happned in the last week or so. Plus there was an extra bonus after dinner. :)

Day 80: Goodbye B...

This is the last of the sun on my way from the vet. I had to put down my oldest cat, B. And she was a B, but I loved her anyway. She was almost 20, so she kicked around and annoyed me for a long time. I like to think that my ex was there to greet her, and also my other cat who disappeared last year. I hope it's one happy reunion. I can hear my ex thanking me now...lol. :)

Day 76: Green n' Pink

This is a pic I took today when I went to the park during lunch. The weather was gorgeous, and I had to get out of the building. People on twitter were posting pics of green panties and stuff. I posted this pic of "mostly green with some pink in the middle". I got some good laughs from that one. :)

Day 75: In a Row

Nothing inspiring to write about here particularly...I just liked the way the clouds seemed to float across the sky in a row. Again...this reminds of a particular artist's style...and I can't quite put my finger on it. Very minimal scape, with basic shapes and form.

Day 74: End of Day

This was a shot Sunday evening from the patio of a pub I frequent. The sycamores in the parking lot looked especially beautiful against the evening sky. They haven't started sprouting leaves yet...but their silouettes are still beautiful. :)

Day 73: Roots

You bond with the Earth, burying your roots there, and yet you reach for the sun and the stars. Like me and the others, you cannot separate yourself from it...you are part of it. You need Her just as She needs you...both are inseparable. You show me how to become one with Her, and treat her with respect. :)

Day 72: Flowing

Oh beautiful beings, what can you teach me? When I look at you, I think to myself.... What would it be like to go with the flow...never fighting with the elements? But allowing them to carry you, caress you, stretch you. And yet remaining what you truly are? All the while, becoming more beautiful because of it. Working with the earth and all that is...rather than resisting. Leaving a beautiful impression for all who would see, and wish to know the message you impart.

So many lines that fill the sky....never noticed them much before till I started looking up, and shooting the clouds. Now, I think I'm becoming somewhat fond of them finding their way into my pictures. :)

Day 64: Sky Beauties

This photo I love! Such great beauties that roam the skies of our planet. I cannot get enough of them. Seeing them, admiring them, photographing them. Hmmmm, perhaps I am a cloud addict...lol. :)

Day 63: Forklifts

I took this pic at work on a partly cloudy day. I love the forklifts sticking up over the wall. The structural feel of the equipment against the free form clouds is very pleasing to me, as are the colors....

Day 62: The Tree

This is "The Tree" that I find myself drawn to photograph over and over. Perhaps because it is at work...and readily accessible each day. But mainly I think because I love its branches and shape. I can't wait to see how it changes throughout the year with the seasons and the light. :)

Day 61: Billowy

Ah, my favorite subject(s), clouds...and of course trees. Again, I find myself loving the high contrast of light and dark. There is an odd spot in the center, probably due to reflection of camera on windshield...but I don't mind it so much. The skies were beautiful this morning, weren't they? :)

Day 60: Sunny Backyard

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny Sunday. I already see signs of Spring. I especially got a kick out of this picture because many of my pictures of trees have phone poles and wires. Well this one has the shadow of one...lol. Now I sort of enjoy seeing if I can get a decent pic and still show these man made objects somewhere in there. :)
