This was today's view as I emerged onto my friend's patio. I'm staying with her for the time being while my place is being put back together. She has a lovely patio.
I'm proud to say that it wasn't always like this, but it has been since I helped her cultivate a green thumb and hence a love of plants and gardening. It was a barren wasteland when I met her...and had a few weeds and not much else.
It has brought her much joy, and to me also, knowing that I inspired her and gave her the confidence to make it a mini-paradise. :)
